Big Brother winner Nadia Almada has hinted that fans of the series may see her appear in the upcoming reboot on ITV.
The reality TV star shot to fame on the fifth instalment in 2004 when she became the first transgender contestant in the show’s history, which she went on to win.
Now two decades on from her winning appearance on the Channel 4 series, the Portuguese-born star, 46, has said that production are “considering bringing” her along with several other contestants from yesteryear back for the upcoming series on ITV.
She told The Mirror: “I think that’s the beauty of this memory of this experience on the show, it’s the icon status. I love the show, I would love for them to see us and to have us and kind of remember, the pioneers of the show and I think it’s kind of becoming a full circle. I’ve manifested it.
“It’s exciting they’re considering bringing us back and it’s sort of nostalgic, the transition from the original fanbase to bring in the most memorable housemates into the new series.”
Almada shared her excitement about the possibility of going back into the Borehamwood compound and earned a new legion of reality TV fans.
She continued: “I’m excited for the possibility of going back in there and just to catch up and show the kids how it’s done. I think it’s beautiful we’ll have it on the reboot, the new show and we are the Olympians of the product so why not, I think it’ll be exciting.”
Previously, ITVX attempted to quell speculation that former housemates would enter the reboot, writing on Elon Musk’s X app, formerly known as Twitter: “All we’ll say is, not everything you read on the internet is true.”
However, the tweet has since been deleted, potentially confirming Almada’s suggestions that fans will see her on the series.

In April, ITV announced that AJ Odudu and Will Best as the new hosts for Big Brother when it hits screens later this year.
The reality TV series, which was first broadcast on Channel 4 in 2000 before moving to Channel 5 in 2011, will be airing on ITV2 and ITV’s streaming service, ITVX .
