Big Brother star's 'brutal' fox eye face-lift leaves Holly and Phil gobsmacked

This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were left shocked on Wednesday's show by one guest's surgery blunder.

The TV duo invited ex-Big Brother and X Factor contestant Ryan Ruckledge into the studio to discuss his scary ordeal after he decided to have a 'fox eye' lift.

Asked by Holly and Phil why he decided to have the surgery, Ryan replied: "I'll be completely honest with you, someone contacted me and offered to do it for free if I promoted it, so I said yes."

Holly admitted to 'wincing' when she read about Ryan's story and as images of him post-surgery flashed up on the screen, he was heard saying: "Oh my God, imagine me trying to pull a fella looking like that! I look like an avatar!"

Ryan went on to say that an infection kicked in two weeks after he had the surgery and said pus was coming out as his "face swelled up".

When Phil asked if he felt supported by the clinic where he had the surgery, Ryan replied: "I don't really wanna speak about the clinic," before adding: "I don't feel like I was supported in the after care, no."

This Morning viewers didn't exactly have sympathy for Ryan and took to Twitter to comment.

"So sad that people feel they have to put themselves through these procedures to achieve ‘perfection’ #thismorning," one person posted.

Another tweeted: "Wtf is up with these people trying to change and inflate their most precious feature #ThisMorning."

A third person asked: "Why would you want that done.. fox eyes? #ThisMorning."
