Big Brother star Glyn Wise has transformed himself from the twinky Welsh wonder that he was back in the mid-naughties to become a shaven headed future priest.
The 34-year-old reality star was a fresh faced 18-year-old when he shot to fame as a contestant on Big Brother back in 2006.
But he has since turned his back on fame and is now training to become a priest in North London – and is currently in training as a priest’s assistant and studying Theology.
Glyn’s famously floppy hair has been shaved off and he is now more likely to be seen covered neck to toe in religious garb rather than flashing his abs in Baywatch style swim shorts.
Gyln has opened up to Heat magazine to explain that he has always been close to his Christian faith, and says he believes it was the power of prayer that led him into the Big Brother house in the first place.
He said: “I always felt there was something there. When I went on Big Brother being Christian wasn’t considered very cool, but I’d be praying in bed under the covers.
“There’s a good quote in the Bible, ‘Ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you.’
“I believe I prayed my way into the house. And now it all feels like a jigsaw puzzle coming together like it was all leading me to this moment.
“Hopefully in two years I’ll be father Glyn. I just can’t wait. I’ll be able to do everything: marry people, do funerals, baptise.”
Glyn has previously hinted at his close relationship with his religion.
Back in January last year, he shared a post online on his birthday, writing: “Last day of being 32! 33 will be full of positivity & growth.
"Lockdown has taught me that gratitude, prayer, meditation, exercise & to have a strong connection with God is the key to happiness.”
Glyn was runner-up on Big Brother during the seventh season of the show – losing out on the winning spot to Pete Bennett.
The seventh season included iconic housemates with Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace and Imogen Thomas among the cast.
It was also the year that Nikki Grahame shot to fame as one of the stars of the show – with the beloved reality star tragically passing away in April last year aged 38 after years of battling anorexia.
Glyn paid tribute to Nikki following the sad news of her death, declaring via social media that she was “the star of the show” that year.
Meanwhile, fellow season seven star Imogen claimed this week that winner Pete took advantage of Nikki’s death last year as he shared a photo of her online and undertook interviews following her death.
Hitting out via The Sun, Imogen claimed: "I’ve got loads of photos of Nikki on my phone but I’d never post them online. It doesn’t even look like Nik. He then decided to go on every TV show and talk about her and this picture was popping up everywhere.
“It wasn’t nice for her mum and the rest of her family and friends.”
But Pete hit back at Imogen and insisted he "didn't sell anything" - and that his tribute was "from the heart".
