ITV have confirmed when Big Brother will be returning to our screens.
The much anticipated reality TV show was expected to drop in spring of 2023. However, a source revealed to the Mirror that the well-known house will not be back on screens until the autumn next year.
They explained that due to an influx of "big reality TV programming " around the same time of year, bosses have decided to push it back. ITV's schedule is looking packed during the first half of the year – with two series of Love Island and I'm A Celebrity... All Stars – so bosses have shared the decision to "move transmission" to a "more prominent slot" in autumn.

The insider said that viewers will have a "whole calendar" of programming to enjoy due to the new air date. The show is currently looking for housemates to join the line up and casting will continue into next summer.
The popular reality show was axed by Channel 5 in 2018 due to a ratings slump, but ITV is set to bring a rebooted version of the series.
There has been a lot of speculation over who could be the new face of Big Brother, as it returns for the first time since it was hosted on Channel 5 in 2018. Previous presenters Davina McCall and Emma Willis have confirmed they won't be returning and that they were also not asked. Big Brother's Bit on the Side host Rylan Clark won the celebrity series back in 2013 and has made it no secret he wants the role.
