A Leeds woman who runs a thriving cake shop in Cross Gates was featured on Channel 5’s body positive show Big Brits Go Large.
Jackie, who runs The Delicious Cake Company, spoke about why she opened her business seven years ago.
The show features people from across the country to show what it’s like to be plus-sized in modern Britain.

Workaholic Jackie bought the shop seven years ago after her brother died. She also revealed she left her husband of 20 years around that time and she now just focuses on her work which described as her baby.
Jackie was shown having problems putting together one of the cakes for a customer after the icing cracked but her hard work paid off in the end.
Other people on the episode included best friends Jo and Nat who planned a bikini photoshoot as well as Emma who had a 'small wardrobe malfunction' before walking down the aisle.
Despite the show’s positive message, viewers took to social media to complain about the programme "promoting obesity" and others were not impressed as Jackie wasn’t wearing gloves.
@theupcyclingcat said: “This woman wears no hair net haven't seen her wash her hands or wear gloves while making that cake #bigbritsgolarge.”
However, @dwangeddy said: "Why are they championing morbid obesity? #bigbritsgolarge"
@messybeckie also said: "This is not to be celebrated, it's not to be encouraged and it's not to be normalised. This is morbid obesity, it is not healthy. #bigbritsgolarge"
@HelenBrenton added: "I cannot work out the focus of this program. Promoting life-threatening obesity shouldn't be a thing, surely? How would people react if there was a beach of underweight anorexic ladies being filmed in bikinis saying how they love their bones sticking out ... #bigbritsgolarge"
But some viewers have hit back at the negative reaction, as JellyWTBelly said: “#BigBritsGoLarge FFS out come the “promoting obesity” brigade. *with a rolls eyes emoji”
@topsycurvyplus replied: “You’re not allowed to exist on tv as a plus size or you’re “promoting obesity” love you #bigbritsgolarge”
