Biffy Clyro's Simon Neil pulls out of the US Arizona tour date after losing voice

Biffy Clyro fans in America were gutted after frontman Simon Neil had to pull out of the Arizona date after losing his voice.

Biffy's Simon and twins James and Ben Johnston finally got to return Stateside on their first tour of America in the last five years.

The lads who haven't been able to tour at all during the last three days had already plated a string of dates in the US and were keen to let fans hear the content of not one but two albums’ worth of new material released in the past 24 months from 2020’s A Celebration Of Endings and 2021’s The Myth Of The Happily Ever After.

However, they ended up announcing to fans in Arizona that they couldn't make it.

A statement on their social media read: "It’s with great reluctance that we have to announce the cancellation of our next show in Arizona.

"Simon's voice is completely gone following last night’s show in Dallas. Rest assured we’re doing everything we can to fix it for the remainder of the shows…

The lads added: "We’re gutted to have come all this way, and waited so long to play for you guys, to have to cancel a show.

"Please know how sorry we are to not be playing for you in Tempe. We’ll do everything possible to make it up to you. Thanks for your understanding."

Biffy are still scheduled to play Vegas, San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles in coming days.
