President Joe Biden made strong remarks about Russian President Vladimir Putin and former President Donald Trump during a fundraiser for his reelection campaign in San Francisco. Biden referred to Putin as a 'crazy SOB' and criticized Trump's comments comparing himself to the late Russian opposition leader who recently died in prison.

During the event, Biden emphasized the urgent need to address climate change, stating that while concerns about nuclear conflict persist with leaders like Putin, the real existential threat to humanity is climate change.

In response to Biden's comments, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov dismissed the remarks as 'churlish' and suggested that Biden's behavior was driven by internal political interests, labeling it as 'Hollywood cowboy style.'

Biden also expressed astonishment at recent statements made by Trump, particularly Trump's comparison of Navalny's death to his own legal issues in the U.S. Trump had been fined for financial misrepresentations and likened the ruling to 'communism or fascism.'

Biden criticized Trump's rhetoric, highlighting the stark contrast between his own policies aimed at helping the middle class and what he perceived as potentially harmful outcomes under a Trump administration, including a nationwide abortion ban and efforts to dismantle healthcare programs initiated during the Obama administration.

Reflecting on the current political landscape, Biden remarked on the unconventional nature of the MAGA Republican crowd, noting a perceived lack of moral compass in their priorities. He expressed disbelief at the rhetoric coming from certain quarters, stating that such statements would have been deemed incredulous a decade ago.

Throughout his fundraising tour in California, Biden has been vocal about his policy agenda and the potential consequences of a Trump victory in the upcoming election, cautioning against regressive policies that could disproportionately benefit the wealthy and undermine the progress made in recent years.
