Actors Jennifer Coolidge and Adrienne Warren, along with Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and his husband, Chasten, are set to headline a Biden campaign fundraiser in Provincetown, Massachusetts next weekend. The event will feature Vice President Kamala Harris as the host, as announced by event planner Bryan Rafanelli, known for organizing high-profile events such as the 2022 White House wedding of Naomi Biden and last year's Australian state dinner at the White House.
Tickets for the fundraiser start at $150, with donors who contribute or raise $15,000 or more having the opportunity to take a photo with the vice president. The event has garnered attention, especially after one of the co-hosts withdrew from the event following concerns raised by Biden's recent performance that led to questions about his fitness for office.
In a statement to the Provincetown Independent, Terrence Meck expressed his decision to withdraw from the event, stating, 'I thought long and hard about it before I backed out of this event. For me, it was not in my heart to continue supporting this candidacy.'
