Although the authenticity of the video has not been verified by the administration at this time, there are no grounds to dispute the identity of the person depicted as Goldberg-Polin, the official further stated.
The video released by Hamas on Wednesday serves as the initial confirmation that Goldberg-Polin survived after sustaining severe injuries during his abduction on October 7.
