BHOPAL: Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated to the country India’s most modern railway station, named after the 18th Century Gond queen Rani Kamlapati, during his visit to Bhopal on Monday.
It’s not only the first station in the country to be redeveloped in PPP mode, but also the first ISO-certified one, with airport-like facilities.
“Not only has the historical railway station of Bhopal been rejuvenated, its importance has also been enhanced with the addition of the name of Rani Kamlapati. Today, the pride of Indian Railways has also been added to the pride of Gondwana,” PM Modi said. The PM also inaugurated several railway projects for Bhopal and Madhya Pradesh.
