Britain's Got Talent winner Jon Courtenay is returning to the series, two years on from his big win.
The Golden Buzzer winner of Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly wowed fans with his comedic songs and performances, and he soon stormed to victory during the 2020 series.
After a hiatus that saw the show off air last year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the series is back with judges Amanda Holden, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Simon Cowell this weekend.
But speaking on Lorraine on Friday, former champion Jon, the last person to win the series, revealed he was making a comeback.
While remaining coy over the details, he explained he'd be making a one-off return to celebrate the series' launch.
In an upcoming episode, viewers will see Jon back on stage delivering one of his loved performances.
He told host Christine Lampard: "Yeah it was great! They phoned me up and said we'd like to feature you, so I'm opening one of the episodes.
"I wrote a song because that's what I do now, I write bespoke songs. So yeah I'm opening one of the episodes. And then there's something else which I don't think we're allowed to talk about.
"Nobody's told me... so yes, I'm going to be featured which is absolutely lovely, and it's great to go back."
Judge Simon recently spoke about the judges line-up, and revealed why he hadn't changed it for 10 years.
He told The Radio Times : "Look, I don’t sit there on a Saturday night and watch, but occasionally I might see a bit of it.
"They’ve done a brilliant job. Like BGT, it hasn’t really changed. That’s a great lesson: when you’ve got something that works, don’t tinker with it.”
Simon, 62, appeared on the show in 2020 during the auditions stage, but Diversity's Ashley Banjo was forced to step in last minute for the semi-finals and final, which were delayed until the autumn.
Britain's Got Talent 2022 launches at 8pm on Saturday on ITV.
