Simon Cowell has hit back at Ant and Dec's joke that he has a "new face" - by insisting he has not had a facelift.
The Britain's Got Talent boss laughed off the claims in an interview with Mirror online.
Ant and Dec caused a stir at a media event this week with the BGT judges when they joked about Cowell's appearance.
Dec told the audience: “We have a new face joining the judging panel.”
To which co-host Ant quipped in reply: “What? Simon has a new face?”
Rather than scold the duo though, Cowell laughs off any claims he has been under the knife for serious surgery in recent months.
He said: "I think it's hysterical. I mean, it just makes me laugh. I haven't had a facelift or anything. I've had a bit of Botox or whatever, but nothing drastic. So when I hear about this stuff, honestly it does make me laugh."
Britain's Got Talent viewers will see a new face on the show this weekend in the form of new judge Bruno Tonioli, who replaces David Walliams on the panel.
Cowell said: "Bruno was just a completely natural fit on the show.
"It was quite remarkable. Even though he'd never seen the show before, it was just brilliant. It was seamless and as I said before, he's brought some chaos to the show.
"But I'm kind of watching the show through his eyes again because he has never seen it and he's so excited. It really is great."
Just last year, the music mogul revealed that his biggest critic is in fact himself and he vowed to never have Botox again.
He told The Sun: "There was a stage where I might have gone a bit too far. I saw a picture of me from ‘before’ the other day, and didn’t recognise it as me first of all.
"Eric (his son) was in hysterics. Enough was enough. There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero."
He never admitted to going under the knife but said as far back as 2008 that having Botox was as commonplace as brushing his teeth.
Simon explained to Glamour: “To me, Botox is no more unusual than toothpaste. It works, you do it once a year – who cares?”
Britain’s Got Talent launches Saturday 15th April, 20:00 and continues Sunday 16th April, 19:45 on ITV1 and ITVX.
