Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has put her 15 years of experience as a judge to good use, as she shared an idea for a potential winning talent act.
The singer and actress, 52, came up with her ingenious idea of creating a band of dogs as an act but using One Direction as inspiration.
After seeing acts of all talents and skill levels try their best to be put through to the next round to have a chance at being in this year's Royal Variety Show, Amanda suggested the idea to her fellow judges as a potential new contender to win the ITV competition.
Amanda said to her fellow judges Alesha Dixon, Bruno Tonioli and Simon Cowell in between acts: "That gave me an idea, why don't we try now and assemble, like, a dog band."
Whilst former Strictly judge Bruno simply laughed at the idea, head judge Simon appeared to be seriously considering the idea as he asked: "So, like, what we did with One Direction, you want to do with dogs?"
Amanda confirmed the idea, leaving the music mogul looking thoughtful.
One Direction were famously put together as a band by X Factor in 2010, where all five singers were being sent home from bootcamp at the judge's houses before the show decided to put them together as a group act instead.
On Britain's Got Talent, music acts and pet acts have always done well with dog act Pudsey and Ashleigh even winning in 2012 with their impressive tricks and dancing.
Also on BGT this week, the judges were pranked by presenters Ant and Dec as the Geordie duo revealed they'd sorted some music for the judges to walk out on stage too.
Amanda, alongside the other three judges, is spotted in the theatre wings waiting to walk out on stage as Ant and Dec tell her that they've sorted out music for the big moment.
Ant tells them: "You know you said you're sick of your walk-on music? We've sorted it!"
Amanda's co-judge Alesha Dixon asks them: "Based on our personal tastes?'"
"Yes! Yes!" Ant and Dec reply as Amanda guesses she'll be walking out to a song from a West End show.
Former Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli was the first to walk out as the Britain's Got Talent presenters start to play their own hit record Let's Get Ready to Rumble.
Alesha walked out next with the 90s hit blaring.
Amanda appeared to find the prank hilarious as she got into the swing of things and entertained audience members as she grabbed a hold of her ankle, lifted her leg in the air and danced along.
However, Simon appeared less than impressed by the new music accompaniment and quickly headed to his seat barely acknowledging the music.
