BGT finalist dreamt of show success night before audition secured him Golden Buzzer

Britain's Got Talent duo Flintz and Taylor wowed with their performance on Tuesday night, and were sent through to the final by the judges.

But member Flintz actually had a dream just hours before their very first audition, that they would do well on the show - and that it would be with the help of judge Alesha Dixon.

Viewers may remember the musicians impressed everyone with their first performance on the show, with this also being their first live performance together.

Alesha was so impressed she got out of her seat and pressed her Golden Buzzer for the pair, sending them straight through to the live shows.

The duo were thrilled with this and celebrated their success, but Flintz had yet to tell his pal something weird that had happened just hours earlier.

Lorraine host Ranvir Singh brought it up as she quizzed the boys on the show on Wednesday, and discussed them reaching Sunday's live final.

She revealed she'd heard Flintz had actually dreamt of something prior to his audition that ended up coming true, with him having no way of knowing it would.

Ranvir said: "People say it's a dream come true, but I think it's more literally isn't it? I mean tell me a bit about that, it's a bit of a slightly spooky thing going on where you... what did you dream about?"

Initially not on the same page as the host, the pair soon laughed as they realised what she meant.

It's then that Flintz explained that hours before the audition that changed their lives, he'd dreamt that Alesha Dixon was going to give them the Golden Buzzer.

This then came true at the end of their audition, with the boys having no knowledge that the judge even still had her buzzer left.

He explained: "Yes, so the day before our audition, our first audition, I had a dream the night before that we got the Golden Buzzer from Alesha."

As Ranvir shouted: "No way!" he added: "Which was weird and we had no clue that was what was going on."

Taylor said: "We didn't even know she was the last one."

Asked if he told Taylor before they performed, Flintz replied: "I kept it to myself until after we got it. I said, 'bro, I actually had a dream that this happened'."

The pair will now battle it out against nine other acts during Sunday's live final.

Britain's Got Talent 2022 airs all this week at 8pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
