Britain's Got Talent fans have been left seething after the "disrespectful" judging panel "interrupted" The Witches terrifying semi-final performance on Monday evening.
Viewers are calling for Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams to apologise after their “ignorant” behaviour during the spine-tingling act.
Throughout the act, David could be heard heckling the performance and making jokes when the other judges were meant to be answering questions.
As part of the act, the judges were asked to take a piece of paper with a fear written on it out of a bag.
Father-of-one Simon looked nervous as it came to his turn.
“Losing the phone number of my plastic surgeon,” David called out, predicting what would be written on his piece of paper.
David took plenty of opportunities to roast his co-judges but Simon got his own back, snapping: "David Walliams just signed a 10 year BGT contract."
And it wasn’t the only time the act was heckled.
When Alesha Dixon’s turn came, David shouted: “Reforming Misteeq!”
But furious fans took to Twitter after the performance to slam the “rude” judges for interrupting the performance – who didn’t make it to the final.
“David Walliams was completely arrogant during The Witches act. Absolute ignorance of the highest order,” one viewer wrote on Twitter.
Another said: “The way the judges acted towards The Witches act was so disrespectful. Who’s voting for them tonight so they can get another chance? Really felt for them.
“The Witch act already has my vote. The judges ruined it with their p***-taking,” a third said.
A fourth fumed: “I think the judges were really disrespectful to The Witches, totally ruined their act by behaving that way and to not talk about it after whereas all other acts get spoken to? The act needs an apology.”
During the audition stage, the terrifying act left the judges running away, audience members shaking and viewers at home hiding behind the sofa.
Mysterious magic act The Witches were among the first semi-finalists taking to the stage for the live shows.
BGT's creepiest magic act has snared the interest of the public as fans continue to speculate who is behind the the mask.
One of the strongest theories going around is that The Witch is none other than national treasure Stephen Mulhern.
