BGT comic says glamour modelling 'came back to haunt her' after stint on ITV show

Britain's Got Talent (BGT) impressionist Francine Lewis says her glamour modelling past came back to haunt her when she appeared on the ITV competition.

The comedian, 47, says she only dabbled in glamour modelling when she was 18, after being inspired by Sam Fox, but the pictures emerged again when she appeared on BGT in 2013, doing impressions of Katie Price, Stacey Solomon and Girls Aloud's Cheryl.

The star has since gone on to forge a successful career, most recently playing Kim Kardashian in ITV's new show Deep Fake Neighbour Wars, which used AI Deep Fake technology to turn her into the reality star and business mogul.

However, Francine got her first shot at fame when she had a go at glamour modelling, saying she loved her body and wanted to show it off.

She told Daily Star: "To be honest, the glamour past lasted no time, I was 18 and I did nothing with it. I entered a competition and won it and ended up in a magazine and did a few photoshoots that was it.

"But then I did a big ITV talent show - and as soon as I did that show, all the pics came out to haunt me and when I did BGT, the pics came up again."

Francine also shared that she recently had another boob job, but her breasts were natural when she was modelling.

She said: "When I did glamour, they were natural, I loved my boobs so much I wanted everyone to see them."

In February, the mum-of-two spoke to the Mirror about playing Kim Kardashian as a bus driver in her new ITV comedy show, which swaps the face of the impressionists with the visages of global superstars including Stormzy, Adele and Nicki Minaj.

Francine stars alongside impressionists such as Katia Kvinge, Al Foran and Aurie Styla.

Deep Fake Neighbour Wars takes celebrities from their glamorous lifestyles and places them in an everyday neighbourhood in the UK.

Lifting the lid on filming the show, Francine said: "It was really funny because it was the hottest week.

"They found it hilarious that I was so excited to do it but, when it came to it, I froze because I was actually scared to just go down the slide into this paddling pool!"

She added: "Everyone found that quite funny that I was so b***dy scared."

While Francine is a huge fan of the show herself, she warned that some viewers might find the programme "freaky".

She said: "I honestly think this could be a hit show – I really, really do.

"Because it's not just funny – the script is excellent – but to see these characters in these situations for instance, Idris Elba and Kim Kardashian living in a shared property where she's a bus driver from Catford, it's really, really different."
