She might have been in Sunderland, but Beyonce tucked into some food handmade in Newcastle on Tuesday, after having a series of pastries delivered too her from an Ouseburn bakery.
The music icon arrived on Wearside for the third UK date of her Renaissance tour, having delighted fans in both Cardiff and Edinburgh last week. A full house of fans eagerly awaited her arrival on stage at the Stadium of Light but, before she launched into a two hour plus show, Beyonce and her team tucked into some goodies from Northern Rye, with the Riverside Walk business revealing their VIP order on Instagram.
Sharing a picture of a baking tray of pastries, with the words 'Beyoncé's croissants - hands off' on the paper, they wrote: "We had the pleasure of supplying pastries to the ONE AND ONLY @beyonce and her team before the gig at the Stadium of light, Sunderland. Talk about career highlights for everyone at Northern Rye! Hope you enjoyed them @beyonce."

And, in other Beyonce food related news; the Break My Soul singer racked up a bill of close to £2,000 with an order placed at an Edinburgh branch of Nandos on Saturday, with a photo of the receipt then going viral online and even being discussed on This Morning.
