Beyoncé superfan will spend £20,000 seeing her on tour - and says it's 100% worth it

A Beyoncé fan who is spending £20,000 to see her favourite popstar on tour says it is '100% worth it'.

Taylor Sinclair, from Belfast, camped overnight in Cardiff last night so she could be among the first to see the R&B star perform at the city's Principality Stadium on Wednesday evening.

But the 26-year-old is planning to see her a whopping 12 further times on her Renaissance world tour, as she shells out on gig tickets and travel plans to follow her from country to country.

Her itinerary includes dates in Edinburgh, London, Sunderland, Paris, Amsterdam, Cologne, Frankfurt and Barcelona.

Combined, the mega-trip will end up costing Taylor around £20,000 - but she believes it is completely worth it.

Taylor queued and slept overnight outside the Principality Stadium after arriving just 7pm on Tuesday, May 16, well ahead of the gates of the Principality Stadium opening around 22 hours later on Wednesday.

Reflecting on the amount of time she spent in the queue, Taylor admitted she was "a little bit tired now" and said that it was "freezing" last night.

But she has kept her spirits high by dancing and singing with other Beyoncé fans, who joined her in the queue during the night.

Speaking about what she was looking forward to at the Cardiff show, Taylor told Wales Online.: "Just to see any changes, new outfits, the show was amazing last time."

Taylor has visited Cardiff once before to see Beyoncé when she last visited the Welsh capital five years ago, and said the Principality Stadium was a "lovely stadium".

Beyonce kicked off her Renaissance tour in style last week while wearing a number of dazzling outfits - but some fans thought their phones were broken when she shared a video from her first performance.

The video was completely muted, without warning, and fans quickly took to the comments to share their confusion.

"But the sound?!! Not me turning my volume up," one person wrote. Another said: "I even restarted my phone because I thought I had a sound issue."

Despite having no sound, the short clip did give an insight into Beyonce's Renaissance tour.

In one part, the superstar was suspended in mid-air as she sat on top of a gigantic glistening horse and was lowered to the stage.

Another clip showed her surrounded by a group of dancers as they busted some energetic moves.

The Renaissance tour is promoting Beyonce's album of the same name, which was released last summer. It is the first album she has released since Lemonade in 2016.
