Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has sent fans into meltdown this week by announcing the title and release date of her highly-anticipated next album, which will launch in a month.
The singer-songwriter, 40, has teased new music for some time, with fans having been eagerly awaiting the follow-up to her studio album Lemonade, which was released in 2016.
And she has now confirmed that the title of her seventh studio album will be Renaissance, with it set to be released on July 29. It's believed to feature 16 tracks.
The Grammy Award winner changed her bio on Twitter and Instagram to confirm the title and release date to her followers, with her also teasing that it's Act 1 in a project.
The news about the album prompted an outpouring of excitement from fans on social media, with fans having eagerly been awaiting for first solo studio album since 2016.
"Been waiting for this for years," tweeted one fan following the announcement. Another commented on the social media platform: "We made it through the Beyoncé drought."
Another wrote: "Beyoncé is coming. This is not a drill." Whilst a fourth person said: "I can't breath. Beyoncé is coming." Another tweeted in response: "I'm f***ing dying omg."

One fan wrote: "Screaming. Crying. Throwing up. I can barely breath. New Beyoncé music on the way and Renaissance is actually the title." Another fan tweeted: "I am so excited."
"Not to be dramatic but I'm literally shaking and crying. Beyoncé is coming," said another person earlier. Whilst one fan tweeted about the news: "I just can't believe it.[...] Wow."
Another said: "Gonna be a Beyoncé summer. I couldn't be happier [right now]." Whilst one said: "Plenty of time to mentally and logistically prepare our hearts, minds and schedules."
Beyoncé appears to have teased the title of the album in an interview with Harpers Bazaar last year, with some fans having realised this following the recent announcement.
She said: "I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible." It was said about the aftermath of isolation and injustice in recent years.
Fans can now pre-save Renaissance on streaming services and can pre-order exclusive merchandise sets on Beyoncé's website. This includes collectible boxes along with the album.
