We knew Beyonce’s new album — her first since 2022’s Renaissance — was going to have some country flair to it after she released two new songs during Super Bowl 58, with folks making many memes out of her Stetson hat looks and dances to the super-catchy and fun “Texas Hold ‘Em” song.
On Tuesday, we learned the name of the album and the release date, which is super exciting. It’s … Act II: Cowboy Carter! And it’s coming March 29, which is right around the corner.
This presumes there will be an Act III someday, with Beyonce perhaps choosing another genre to make her own. Here’s reaction to the news dropping on Tuesday:
