Beyonce and Jay-Z 'considering legal action against Kanye West' over 'vulgar' comments about their children

Beyoncé and Jay-Z are reportedly weighing legal action against Kanye West following his disturbing social media remarks about their twins, Rumi and Sir.

West’s now-deleted post used offensive language to question the mental abilities of their seven-year-olds, prompting the couple to explore their options.

A source told Page Six that they are "discussing how to handle the situation, whether privately or through legal channels."

The insider emphasised that the music icons “will absolutely not tolerate” West’s comments about their children, describing the language he used as "vulgar and offensive."

However, they currently have no plans to publicly address his remarks.

Although West later removed the post, he made it clear that it wasn’t an act of remorse.

He wrote on X: "I need everyone to know that I took the post about Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s family down … because there was a possibility of my Twitter being cancelled [sic].”

A source also told the outlet that Kim Kardashian is "appalled" by West’s post, particularly that he would use such language about anyone—let alone children.

"Kim has had enough and she’s done trying to be reasonable with Kanye when it comes to communication," the insider revealed.

The source added that, regardless of whatever issues West has with Jay-Z and Beyoncé, Kardashian firmly believes that "kids are off-limits”, describing his comments as both "shocking and offensive."

While Blue Ivy has been in the public eye since her birth in 2012, Beyoncé and Jay-Z have been far more private when it comes to their twins, Rumi and Sir.

Unlike their older sister, the twins have never appeared alongside their parents at red carpet events or award shows since their arrival in June 2017.

It is long believed this choice reflects the couple’s commitment to maintaining their children’s privacy and shielding them from the spotlight.

The report comes after Kardashian reportedly cut her daughter North’s visit to Kanye West short after discovering that Andrew and Tristan Tate would be present.

47-year-old rapper West recently made shocking, unfounded claims about his ex-wife, 44, accusing her of exploiting their children in a series of disturbing, now deleted, posts on X.

West, who shares four kids with the Skims founder, levelled these allegations after their 11-year-old daughter North participated in an FKA Twigs song and TikTok video.

When North visited her father last week, Kardashian quickly ended the meeting after her security informed her that the Tate brothers were heading to the same location, according to TMZ.

The outlet also reported that Kardashian doesn't want their eldest daughter, or any of their children, associating with the Tates or Sean "Diddy" Combs.

The Standard has contacted Beyonce and Jay-Z’s rep for comment.
