Beverley Turner's brutal dig at ex James Cracknell as she claims 'grass is greener'

Beverley Turner has taken a brutal swipe at ex-husband James Cracknell by heaping praise on her new romance.

The TV presenter and mother of three, 46, ended her 17-year marriage to former Strictly Come Dancing star Cracknell in July last year.

She has since moved on with a younger lover, a 32-year-old eco-house developer named James Pritchett, who she began seeing in September 2019.

"It turns out that not only is the grass greener, it's also softer, quieter and I am enjoying lying upon it, feeling the sunshine on my skin and watching the horizon with excitement - not fear," she gushed.

In further gushing praise of her new lover, Beverley appears to criticise Cracknell's attitude in their marriage.

Of Pritchett, Turner tells Good Housekeeping Magazine : "He listens when I simply need a rant. He is as good at spinning me round on the dance floor as he is at running me a bath.

"He laughs at my extreme gratitude for this kindness, claiming that this is what a 'normal relationship' is meant to look like."

Beverley noted that the age gap between her and Pritchett was "surprisingly irrelevant".

Despite her apparent swipe at Cracknell, the split between the pair is said to have been amicable.

Cracknell has said of their changed family unit and their children: "It’s not going to be the same but they are important."

The couple divorced following James' serious brain injury after he was hit by a lorry in the US, leaving him with epilepsy and personality changes.

He's also since moved on into a new relationship and has been dating Cambridge University student Jordan Connell, who is in her 30s, since last year.

Cracknell was the first celebrity to exit Strictly Come Dancing in the most recent series.
