Manchester United supporters are split over whether Christian Eriksen would be a good signing for the club.
The Dane is available on a free this summer after an incredible January comeback with Brentford less than a year after his on-field cardiac arrest at Euro 2020. The midfielder showed his brilliance with the Bees, grabbing four assists and one goal.
Brentford named him on their released players list earlier this month but are eager to retain his services. Meanwhile, there has been interest from Tottenham and Antonio Conte, who managed Eriksen while he was at Inter Milan.

There had also been links with a potential move to United. And on Tuesday, The Athletic reported that the club had submitted an offer to the player.
It prompted a number of United supporters on Twitter to cast their verdict on Eriksen's potential arrival. Some did not think much of their club's move for the playmaker.
@JamesRainford: Just another ageing Mata. Class but not what we need.
@Willftbl: Problem with this club. Always signing players we don’t need because of the name.
@Le_Trawler: We need eight starting players and we're only making an offer for a free third choice attacking midfielder.
@imMuriu: United now fishing for bargains. This club will continue to suffer until the Glazers leave.
Meanwhile, others said Eriksen’s capture would be a good deal considering he would arrive for free.
@AA_utd: Underwhelming but decent as a Mata/Lingard replacement on a free
@Manchester908: Free agent signing will help us, remember we’ve lost midfielders going out on free agent so with Eriksen coming in and other signings it will be best for the club.
@rymufc77: Won’t be a bad signing . He’s a brilliant footballer.
@illmatesco: Better than Bruno in my books.
