Marks and Spencer has got your main course covered with a vegan ‘beef’ Wellington which serves four people.
Costing £15, the wheat and pea-protein based vegan Wellington is topped with a mushroom duxelle and wrapped in vegan puff pastry.
There's even a plant based no meat Wellington roll available as a Christmas sandwich from M&S this year.

Asda Extra Special Vegan Turkey Style Joint
Stuffed with caramelised onion stuffing, this turkey-style vegan joint from Asda could be the perfect option if you’re new to a plant-based diet.
It still has the appearance and feel of a meat joint, but without any of the actual meat.
The ‘joint’ serves up to five people and costs £5 from Asda.

Sainsbury’s Nut Roast with Tangy Spiced Orange Glaze
Nut roast is a classic vegan and vegetarian choice for Christmas dinner, and Sainsbury’s has taken it up a notch with their offerings this year.
The nut roast on sale for 2021 has a tangy spiced orange and cranberry glaze to make it extra special - it costs £5.50 and serves three people.
You can also collect it closer to Christmas, as the Sainsbury's website explains.
Aldi Plant-Based Camembert with a Cranberry Centre
If you’re struggling with the concept of Christmas without cheese, fear not.
Aldi ’s festive plant-based camembert has a cranberry centre and is the perfect festive treat for Christmas dinner.
They come in packs of two for £2.99 and would be a great alternative to a nut roast.
The Aldi website has a range of vegan and meat-free options.
Morrisons Vegan Roast Joint with Herb & Onion Stuffing
Morrisons has upped its vegan Christmas dinner offerings this year with a new vegan roast joint.
The centrepiece will cost £5 and include a ‘succulent’ soya joint filled with onion, parsley, sage and thyme stuffing.
It’s topped with gluten free breadcrumbs and decorated with a festive bay leaf too.
The supermarket has an expanded vegan and vegetarian range online and in store.
Wicked Kitchen No-Turkey Roast Crown
Tesco will be serving up a ‘no turkey’ crown to rival any meat-based centrepiece on the Christmas dinner table.
Costing £5, the tender and easy-to-carve joint will be made from soy and wheat protein and topped with vegan butter melt and a sage and onion stuffing crumb.
It seems to be in demand, according to the Tesco website, which was showing it as sold out at the time of writing.
Waitrose Vegan Jewelled Roast with Fruity Centre
This savoury, mushroom-based roast from Waitrose is packed full of sweet, caramelised onions and chestnuts for a festive treat.
Costing £5.99, you’ll find the centre of this roast packed with clove-spiced apricot and topped with dried fruit and nuts.
