Best TV deals for Black Friday 2023 from Samsung, LG and more

“What are you watching right now?”

It’s the question that dominates the WhatsApp group chat, family meals and dinner dates. We all want to know what our next cult show will be and how to spend our cosy evenings in, especially as the days get shorter and temperatures plummet.

When the winter arrives, our telly transports us to the tropics, in the centre of family drama, to fantasy worlds or simply to Elstree Studios for reality TV at its finest.

TV is in a golden age and it’s essential that your box is up to scratch.

While there are models that fit seamlessly among your décor like the Samsung Frame that displays artwork when not in use, others may not shy away from the fact that the TV is the centrepiece of the space.

Whether you’re hoping to raise the inches of your current set, see how 4K OLED HDR will bring a more realistic picture or you’re looking to have one in every room in the house (bathroom included), there’s no better feeling than bagging a bargain.

Any bargain hunter worth their salt knows that Black Friday is the time to upgrade their tech – including TVs.

When is Black Friday?

Black Friday 2023 will occur on November 24 and will culminate in Cyber Monday on November 27.

What is Black Friday?

But we’re getting ahead of ourselves. If you’re unfamiliar with the annual sales event, let us break it down.

Each November, on the fourth Friday of the month, there are epic reductions to be had across every product imaginable. From laptops to smartwatches, there’s truly no better time to shop. The event takes place the day after Thanksgiving in the US and is a great opportunity to tick off your Christmas shopping list ahead of December 25.

When does Black Friday end?

Black Friday is a four-day event that begins on Friday, continues on through the weekend and ends when the clock strikes midnight as Cyber Monday draws to a close.

Is it better to wait for Black Friday to buy a TV?

In short, yes. Over at ES Best, we have been covering Black Friday since our inception and we have noticed that this particular type of electronics is always treated to a huge reduction in price during the sales event.

That is not to say that you won’t find discounts across models before the event. You will. But this may be on older models. For the latest tellies, Black Friday is your best bet for savings.

What kind of TV deals can we expect?

If last year was anything to go by, there will be deals across 24-inch to 85-inch TVs as well as from Sony Bravia, Samsung, LG, Amazon Fire, Hisense and JVC.

Are there any TV discounts available now?
