Summer is here if you couldn't already tell by the glorious sunshine. However, as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end and it won't be long before we see rainfall in Glasgow.
So when this does happen, it's always good to have something up your sleeve for a rainy day whether it's an indoor activity or getting out and about.
But if you'd rather the latter, here are just some of the run things you can do in Glasgow during a rainy summer's day whether you take the kids along or want something to do without the wee ones.

What should I do in Glasgow on a rainy day?
Escape Glasgow
Whilst being trapped inside is the last thing you want during your summer holidays, we're sure this is a little different.
Escape Glasgow, located on Wellington Street, has a central location and is accessible via the likes of buses and trains. And it's a lot of fun.
For those unfamiliar with the concept, you and a group of people you know are trapped in a room in which is locked and in order to escape, you need to solve a series of puzzles within a certain amount of time to accomplish a goal, typically finding the key to unlock the room.
You can check out their rooms and how to book via their website.

Glasgow Museums
When it's a raining day, a trip to the museum could be on the cards - and there's bound to be something for everyone from the Riverside Museum to The Open Museum and of course, Burrell Collection.
You can check out the list of museums on Glasgow Life's website.
Glasgow Climbing Centre
If you - or your child - likes to stay active then this could be the perfect spot. The climbing centre is ideal for beginners as well as those with experience.
The centre writes: "Climbing is the ultimate full-body workout whatever your age and level of fitness, and it’s a great way to build strength, improve coordination, mental health and give your confidence a boost.
"We offer climbing courses and fun sessions for anyone over the age of 4 and for all abilities. Our sessions are run in small groups by highly qualified and friendly instructors and include all the equipment you need to climb safely."

Chill at a Glasgow cafe or coffee shop
There are a number of cafes in the east end, west end and southside that are always calling our names. Whether you opt for your local, a new favourite or you are trying something new, it's a good reminder to support local.
And when it comes to Glasgow's food scene, you'll never be stuck without any options.
And if you're a coffee connoisseur, there are plenty of ways to get your caffeine fix and see what gets your taste buds going whether you're more of a bitter, citrusy or florally kind of coffee person.
You can read Glasgow Live's food and drinks page to see where you can go.
Wellpark Brewery
If coffee isn't your thing, then maybe another type of beverage is. Coming highly rated on TripAdvisor, standing at third spot, comes Wellpark Brewery.
Located in the east end on Duke Street, it is home to more than 450 years of brewing tradition and award-winning beers.
So if you're keen to learn about the rich heritage of one of the country's most loved brands and about the production processes that have taken place at Wellpark from the centuries up to today, then get booking.
The Brewery even tease to top it all off, "there might even be a cheeky wee taste of Scotland's Favourite at the end of the tour in it for you. Tasty."
If you're willing to travel outside of the city, however, there is an award-winning place you need to try - you can read all about that below
