THE best Scottish takeaways have been crowned in a prestigious UK-wide award.
The winners of the 2024 Good Food Awards have been revealed, with a number of eateries across Scotland triumphing in the takeaway category.
The awards also offer separate prizes for restaurants, cafés, gastropubs and fish and chip shops – which we previously reported on.
The takeaway category honours every takeaway that isn’t primarily a fish and chip shop.
Six establishments in Scotland took home the award, including: Marmaris in Aberdeen, Wee Mexico in Dundee, Burger Island in Burntisland, Curry Leaf in Ayr, Chicken Union in Stirling and Giovanni's in Edinburgh.
