After two years away, Glasgow’s much-loved St Patrick’s Day celebrations are finally set to make a triumphant return to the city.
This year's Paddy’s Day is on a Thursday, but it’s never too early to grab some green accessories and down a pint of Guinness in honour of our Celtic neighbours.
While it is easy to feel overwhelmed during this boisterous and boozy celebration, don't panic: with the luck of the Irish on your side, anything is possible.
Check out these party hotspots in Glasgow to get your green on.

The Gate
Prefer pub grub to a pint of Guinness? The Gate is the place to go.
To celebrate St Patrick's Day later this month, Rob Casson, the man behind King Of Feasts - recently crowned one of the top 10 epic sandwich makers on the planet and a massive hit at their residency at The Polwarth Tavern in Edinburgh - will be running the kitchen at the Gallowgate favourite.
He'll be serving up some of their incredible signature burgers and crazy good comfort food from 1pm on Friday March 18, while putting on special brunch menu on Sunday 20th.

O’Neill’s
Can't make it to Dublin this year? Don’t worry, O’Neill’s on Albion Street promises to be the next best thing.
With a bottomless St. Patrick’s Day brunch, limited edition ‘Pot of Gold’ bomb and £2 pints of Guinness, there’s plenty craic-ing action to be had.
Revellers can soak up all the booze with plenty grub too and swing along to traditional Irish music well into the wee small hours. Ye dancin'?

Malones
Why celebrate just one day when you could make a whole weekend out of it? That’s the idea at Malones at least. The Irish pub is hosting the ultimate Paddy’s day weekender and keeping the party going from Thursday, March 17 until Sunday, March 20.
The fest will be packed full of St Patrick’s day shenanigans, including an epic street party, BBQs and live music across three stages, including headliners Danny Kelly, David James and Plundering Sons.
Kicking off the celebrations on St Patrick’s Day, revellers can join the celebration of Irish culture both inside the pub and on the street outside, which will be cordoned off ready for a street party to remember. For a fiver entry, you can enjoy a Paddy’s day BBQ, accompanied by pop-up bars offering Guinness on tap. To accompany the food and drink, live music from up-and-coming Irish artists will ring out from the three stages, both on the street and inside the pub.
Friday will see Malones Triple Cask Irish Whiskey take over with more live music then come Super Saturday, where they will host an all-day street party - rolling the St Patrick’s day weekend and the Six Nations finals all into one.
Massive screens will be set up outside the pub, showing every Six Nations final live. Pop-up bars and a tasty BBQ will add to the lively atmosphere, while inside live music can be enjoyed. Entry is £5 on the door.
Sunday may be the last day of the festival, but it’s certainly not a wind down. There’ll be free entry, drinks will be flowing and there’ll be more live music from some of the best Irish musicians in Glasgow. Bottoms up!

Kokomo
Things are always pretty riotous at Kokomo, and they’re bound to get even livelier with a bit of St Patrick’s Day energy thrown into the mix.
The city centre nightclub will be swinging open its doors for the St Patrick's Day Party Monster on Thursday, March 17 — expect cracking tunes, fancy dress and the usual mad dance moves, barrelling on until 5am.
Sub Club
Tommy Holohan and Yasmin Gardezi will be spinning all your dancefloor favourites at Sub Club with their All You Need event on Thursday, March 17.
Yasmin said ahead of the night: “I am delighted to announce I will be playing at the iconic Sub Club and making my Glasgow debut this St Patricks Day with Tommy Holohan & All U Need.
"Have always wanted to play here, this is going to be so special.”
Innis & Gunn, Ashton Lane
Innis & Gunn’s popular ‘Versus’ series will this month celebrate St Patrick’s Day, with a special-edition menu at Innis & Gunn’s Ashton Lane Brewery Taproom, showcasing the best in Irish food and drink.
Running since 2018, the ‘Versus’ series offers the perfect night out for foodies, with flavours from around the globe brought to life through bespoke menus. Working with a new theme each month as inspiration, dishes are created by the head chef from each of Innis & Gunn’s four Brewery Taprooms across Scotland. Limited tickets are available here.
Hard Rock Cafe
Hard Rock Cafe Glasgow are creating a limited edition Irish Mule cocktail available on Thursday 17th March. Meanwhile, to add to the St Patrick's Day festivities, guests can also enjoy a live acoustic session in the restaurant from 6:30-9:30pm.
