The Cincinnati Bengals have generated reactions in all sorts of ways this year while struggling to match the hype of a team that just made a Super Bowl.
But Monday night, the reactions were unanimously negative.
Those Bengals got absolutely stomped on primetime by the Cleveland Browns, playing to a 32-13 result that sent the team to 4-4.
With the offense looking terrible in all facets, the defense matching that and some key injuries to boot, Monday night’s reactions were about the flop and the miserable long-term outlook for the rest of the season.
Here are some of the most notable reactions from right around the time the game went final.
FINAL: Browns 32, #Bengals 13
This wasn't about Ja'Marr Chase.
This was about a game that left a pile of problems and concerns that create major issues rightfully leaving questions as to if this team has a real run in them.

This #Bengals coaching staff has allowed this team to lose to
Mitch Tribisky (later benched)
Cooper Rush (replaced by Dak as soon as healthy)
And Jacoby Brisket sandwich (literally a stopgap to get to Watson)
PATHETIC

Tonight was unbelievably brutal. But, the sun will rise tomorrow.
Browns dominated and deserve the win.
Beat Carolina next week, 5-4 going into the bye.
Goodnight and Who Dey. ✌️

I know it’s not in their dna to make trades. Neither was big FA acquisitions, moving up in the draft, ROH, firing coordinators in season. They have shown some ability to change.

I’ll have you know I watched every second of that game. I don’t want anyone to ever question my loyalty.

Well that was humiliating

On to Carolina. Get active tomorrow if this season means anything to you. It’s still there.

For Halloween the Bengals are dressing up as the Cincinnati Reds.

The Bengals need to make at least 1 trade tomorrow. We had our injury luck season last year and you can’t just be throwing years away sitting around crying about losing some guys

Bengals have lost to QB immortals Mitch Trubisky, Cooper Rush, and Jacoby Brissett.
And lost games when they were far healthier than they are now.

I never liked scary movies. That one on MNF sheesh.

It's actually comical how good Stefanski is at lighting up the Cincy defense.
Burrow is now 0-4 against the Browns and hasn't faced a good QB yet in those games.
