The Cincinnati Bengals earned massive reactions during their Week 18 win over the Baltimore Ravens.
First and foremost, because Joe Mixon and the offense busted out a coin-flip touchdown celebration to mock the NFL.
But also because with a win, the Bengals avoided the coin-flip stipulation the league made up on the fly and solidified the home-field advantage aspect of being AFC North champions for the second season in a row.
A 27-16 win over a divisional rival and forcing a season split of the series with the Ravens doesn’t hurt either. Here’s a look at the most notable reactions after the game ended before the team preps for the playoffs.
Bengals win & grab the AFCN title in consecrutive seasons for the first time in team history
With the way Joe & the alphas on the offense are wired, they will be pissed at their performance today and some of the points left on the field.
I look for them to be dominant next week

12-4 after an 0-2 start is a pretty nice stretch of play.
The Bengals will host the Ravens again for the wildcard, and they'll know what they're up against.
A full week of preparation this time, and hopefully and continued Hamlin for recovery/the team's mental health

LETS CRUSH THE RAVENS AGAIN

Well that was a rough one. Hope they are ready to go next week

12-4. What a regular season after the first two weeks.

8 straight wins + Back to Back Division Titles. What a season. Not done yet.

Eight straight wins. Back to back AFC North Champions.
Sorry @NFL, no coin toss.

SCREW YOUR COIN FLIPPPPP @NFL

You will have to excuse the #Bengals for not being laser focused today after the week that was. We are going to the playoffs and are 12-4, matching their record for most wins in a season. Enjoy the moment. Appreciate what you have.

FINAL: #Bengals 27, Ravens 16.
There will be no coin toss. But there will be a rematch here next week.
This was far from conclusive against a Ravens team sitting a few starters and playing Anthony Brown, but still shirts and hats in the locker room.
Eight in a row. 12-4.

#Bengals tie franchise record with 8th consecutive win.
Bengals earn AFC’s three seed and will host the Ravens on Wild Card weekend to start the playoffs.

I understand they stayed fairly vanilla today, but the Bengals offense will have to execute at a much higher level next week.
Dobbins, Andrews, Huntley will be in.
— Andrew Russell (@Andrew_Russell7) January 8, 2023
Bengals won eight straight and 12 of their last 14 to finish their season.
Today wasn’t the prettiest win, but you’ve got to feel great about the potential of another playoff run.

No need for a coin flip. Bengals beat the Ravens. Tyler Boyd, “They didn’t give nothing to us, we TOOK IT!” pic.twitter.com/kLZIVbKXtn

Bengals finish 12-4 on the year and are back to back AFC North champs for a second year in a row.
Cincinnati will face the Ravens again next weekend in the Wild Card round at Paycor Stadium.

Bengals win, but the offense does not have momentum going into the playoffs and they likely lost their RG meaning once again, they'll have the entire right side of the OL be backups again. Pass rushers will be salivating.

The Bengals faced more adversity today than they expected perhaps. Adding some extra adversity to the tank is a bit of a trigger for Joseph Burrow though. Looking forward to it.
