St Patrick's Day is just around the corner and iconic alcohol brand Guinness has recommended its top pubs to celebrate - with two being right here in Liverpool.
Guinness is known and loved across the world, thanks to its legendary Irish dry stout. The dark beverage, which was founded in Dublin, Ireland, back in 1759, is brewed in almost 50 countries, and available in more than 120.
For many people, a pint of Guinness and St Patrick's Day go hand in hand. St Patrick's Day takes place every March 17 and is a cultural and religious celebration.

It's held on this date as it's believed to be the traditional death date of Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. In Liverpool, it's usually a phenomenally popular event with bars, clubs and pubs celebrating in style. Those keen to get out on the town often don green and drink the day away.
Ahead of the special occasion, Guinness has published a list of 20 pubs it would recommend visiting on March 17. In Liverpool, The Albert Hotel on Walton Breck Road, and O'Neill's on Hanover Street, made the cut.
Neil Shah, head of Guinness GB said: "St Patrick's Day is a momentous occasion for Guinness and this year as the number one beer in UK pubs, it’s extra special. As always, so much hard work has gone into ensuring that the quality of the perfect pint of Guinness never wavers and that every pint poured is as iconic as the last – regardless of demand.
"For us, St Patrick's Day is all about bringing people together to celebrate with friends and family. Whether you choose to enjoy a classic pint of Guinness Draught, or Guinness 0.0 - our non-alcoholic alternative - we want to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome."
