The Christmas holidays are fast approaching, and that means ice-skating is back in Dublin.
If you're looking to take your family and friends out ice-skating, you're in luck because Dundrum On Ice, Blanchardstown, Swords On Ice are all offering ice-skating this winter.
Dundrum On Ice made its long awaited return on November 18 in Dundrum Town Centre, while ice-skating is also back in Millennium Park in Blanchardstown since last Friday and Swords On Ice is back this week. Here's everything you need to know about ice-skating in Dublin.

Dundrum On Ice
Dundrum On Ice orgnaisers announced back in June that it was returning for the 2022/2023 Christmas season after two years of cancellation. The popular ice rink at Dundrum Town Centre was closed in 2020 and 2021due to the Covid-19 pandemic, much to the disappointment of ice-skating enthusiasts.
But they are now back in action at Dundrum Town Centre since last Friday, 18 November. Dundrum On Ice is open for ice-skating from Monday to Friday from 3pm to 9pm with its last session at 8pm, and it's also open on the weekends on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 7pm, with its last session at 6pm.
Skaters are reminded that sessions start strictly on the hour and last for 45 minutes, so please arrive twenty minutes before your session starts. Christmas week opening hours are:
- Dec 23rd – Jan 3rd, rink opens at 10:00 HRS
- Dec 24th, Dec 25th, Dec 31st and Jan 1st will have shorter opening hours.
- Dec 26th & Jan 1st we will open at 11:00 HRS
- Dec 23rd & Jan 1st our final session will start at 17:00 HRS

Blanchardstown
The largest skating rink in Ireland is held in Millennium Park, Blanchardstown and this year it runs from November 18 to early January. Blanchardstown is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 3:50pm to 8:30pm, and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Blanchardstown are offering brilliant discounts for all group bookings of 15+ skaters which costs €17. Prices include Early Bird Ticket at €14, Adult Ticket for €20, U-18 Ticket for €17, Family of 3 Ticket for €50, a Family of 4 or €62, a Family of 5 Ticket for €76, a Family of 6 Ticket for €91, Student (Wednesday) €16, and a School Skate for €13.

Swords On Ice
The organisers of Swords On Ice are delighted to announce that they are back open on the Malahide Road beside the Pavillion in Swords. They are offering ice-skating from November 22 to January 15, 2023.
Swords On Ice is open for ice-skating from Monday to Friday from 3pm to 9pm with its last session at 8pm, and it's also open on the weekends on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 7pm, with its last session at 6pm.
