Ewan McVicar made a sensational homecoming last night as he headlined his very own Pavilion Festival.
7,500 packed into Ayr's Low Green and partied for more than 10 hours.
Queues already formed outside ahead of the midday opening with revellers getting in early entering the arena under a banner that read "embrace the madness."
Anticipation built throughout the day up until Ewan's big moment, with the local hero taking to the stage around 8.30pm to a huge roar.
The Kincaidston lad then literally set sparks flying with a set full of his own tunes and some classics that blasted through the Low Green.
A two hour set brought with it some incredible sights, with giant beach balls unleashed into the crowd, smoke machines and a stunning confetti finish.
The weather might not have been Ibiza temperatures but you would have been fooled for mistaking Ayr for the party island, with shorts, t-shirts, and sunglasses the look of the day.
Fans made the most of the dry conditions and warmed up by dancing all throughout the day, to amazing support from Ayrshire and beyond.
Elsewhere on site, Karen Dunbar made her first Ayr bow as a DJ. The Chewin' the Fat star took over the VIP section to a great reception.
Ayrshire Live was there to capture the best of the action.
