Best men’s tie brands to add a stylish finishing touch to your suit

It’s official – neckties are back.

Not only were they a fixture on the SS24 runways at Bottega Veneta, Fendi and Givenchy, but the #OldMoney revival and the rise of #Corpcore on TikTok and Instagram means they’re all over our feeds too. So, now is the time to include them in your accessory rotation.

The trick is to seamlessly blend them with your look without giving the impression you’re ‘dressing up’, whether you’re leaning into the preppy aesthetic with denim and knitwear or doubling down on corporate casual with Nineties tailoring.

And we’re not talking about the nondescript ties you might spot during rush hour en route to Canary Wharf. Instead, it’s best to invest in designs with some interest  – a polka dot, stripe or paisley print would do – and those crafted in fabrics without the shiny finish that is reminiscent of end-of-school prom.

If you’re still not sold and some inspiration might help, look no further than John F. Kennedy Jr. The eternal menswear muse had the art of suiting up nailed down. From formal events to public appearances, he used the tie to makeover his ordinary tailoring with some personality. For a more recent take, it’s A$AP Rocky and Tyler The Creator who should be on your moodboard.

The good news? Whichever tie you choose, it can do double duty during wedding season too. If you’ve got a strong selection of ties at your disposal, it’s easy to take your suit up a notch – and it means you get more outfit mileage from each suit, as well.

Without further ado, keep scrolling to see our pick of the best. If none of these take your fancy, head to your nearest charity shop or thrift store where you’re sure to find a gem or two after some digging – you might even discover one from the brands below.
