For 2021, we’re getting our Easter celebrations going a little early.
Good Friday may not be until April 2 but after the year we’ve had, we think we deserve an extra few weeks to gorge on as many Easter eggs as our newly invested elasticated loungewear will allow.
This year, it’s all about treating ourselves and if that means your version of self-care is cracking into a smooth, melting chocolate shell adorned with an array of mouth-wateringly delicious toppings - then we are here to support you. It’s in the name of Easter, after all.

Laduree The Milk Chocolate Egg
The French patisserie brand may be best known for its macaroons but don’t sleep on its Easter offering. Combining the main ingredient found in the almond-based cookie with a chocolatey twist, the egg-celent treat is crafted from Chuao chocolate and Saint Malo milk and adorned with the nut.
A dark chocolate variety is also available with 75 per cent Chuao chocolate with toasted almonds on the exterior.
Selfridges Easter Egg
At luxury department store Selfridges, there is not one but two eggs that we think deserve a place in your seasonal celebrations. With a nod to sustainability, they have partnered up with Chocolarder and as such, use ethically sourced cacao from the Dominican Republic and sugar cane from the green harvest project in Brazil to craft the chocolaty treats. The Almond Nougatine is made from almonds wind sailed from Spain, while the Honeycomb iteration benefits from the delicious honey from beekeeper Matt Pitt’s Cornish Black Bees. The packaging is also plastic-free.
Rococo Ruby Chocolate Egg
It’s hard to believe that it was only in 2017 that ruby chocolate (dubbed the “fourth” variety after dark, milk and white) entered our lives and now it’s everywhere and we couldn’t be happier. Rococo has transformed the pink iteration into an egg with chocolate-coated raspberries to go alongside it. Fruity and delicious.

Love Cocoa Prosecco Milk Chocolate Luxury Egg with Pink Gin Truffles
Prosecco? Check. Chocolate? Check. Gin? Check. This egg truly has it all. Hotel Chocolat Rocky Road to Caramel Extra-Thick Egg
For us, Easter hasn’t truly begun until we have gorged our way through Hotel Chocolat’s seasonal offering. The selection is one of the best out there and you’ll be hard-pressed to choose just one (luckily we don’t judge so feel free to add them all to basket).
The Rocky Road to Caramel is part of the brand’s satisfying extra-thick collection where they have doubled down on the typical casing adding even more indulgent chocolate. Luxury chocolatier Pierre Marcolini is known for fabulous sugary creations, and this Easter its giant bunny emerging from an egg has made a triumphant return (biologically inconceivable yes, but stunning nonetheless).
