The Lake District has long been a firm favourite with Brits after an idyllic staycation.
After all, it offers up some ridiculously beautiful landscapes and walking trails, quintessentially British villages with charming B&Bs and cosy pubs, not to mention plenty of fun attractions for families too.
As UK holidays continue to reign supreme this summer, it's not surprising that the region is proving particularly popular. While this does mean prices can hike up, there are actually plenty of deals to be found, whether you're after a cheap hotel getaway for two, or you're after a long weekend away with the kids.
To give you a helping hand, we've rounded up some of the best hotel and holiday park deals to be found for summer 2021 - and with prices from £44.50pp, you won't need to break the bank either.

- Travelodge rooms from £45 : There are currently has rooms from £45 a night at the chain's Lake District hotels - when we took a look, these prices included stays during the school holidays. Book with Travelodge.
- Hotel and breakfast from £89 : An overnight stay at the George Hotel in Penrith for two people with breakfast included. Dates available through to March 2022, including availability for July, August and September. Book with Wowcher.
- Hotel and dinner from £95 : An overnight stay at the Whitewater Hotel & Leisure Club for two people with breakfast included, as well as dinner on the first night. Book with Groupon.
- Hotel and prosecco from £99 : An overnight stay at the Wild Boar near Windermere for two people, including a full English breakfast and bottle of prosecco. Book with Travelzoo.
- Haven holiday park stay from £439 : Haven has three-night breaks at its Lakeland park from £439 in July based on four people staying in a Deluxe caravan. Book with Haven.

If you're on a budget, Travelodge's Price Finder tool can be a useful tool for seeking the brand's cheapest rates. Simply search the Lake District, and enter your maximum price range. The tool then highlights the different rates at each of the hotels in the region, so you can find the best deals - it does help if you can be a little flexible on your dates or the exact location!
Premier Inn can also be a budget-friendly option, and often hosts sales with rooms from £35 to be found.
For deals on overnight stays it's worth keeping an eye out on the likes of Wowcher, Groupon and Travelzoo, all of which regularly have discounts and vouchers which often come with perks such as breakfast or dinner.
If it's holidays rather than hotels that you're after, there are plenty of tempting options.
