Slippers have been protecting feet since approximately 4700 BC. The earliest examples were crafted from cotton or woven rush, featured leather lining and were adorned with power motifs such as dragons. Native American moccasins, which remain ever-popular today, were also highly decorative, featuring hand-painted scenes and beautiful embellishments.
We expect the reign of the slipper to continue long into the future. Many may adopt a more cartoonish look today, but they will never cease to put the fun into function.
