It doesn’t take long to understand why Huda Kattan is such a huge deal in the beauty world.

The makeup mogul, who has more than 25 million Instagram followers, has been christened one of Time Magazine's 25 most influential people on the Internet – and we couldn’t agree more with this.

Her ‘Huda Beauty’ blog first launched in 2010 and has since grown to an international empire, which includes an entire range of products, ranging from false lashes to foundation.

More recently, the 34-year-old beauty maven has launched a new reality series – Huda Boss – that gives fans an insight into how she came this far.

Whether you want to channel your inner Kardashian or Audrey Hepburn, Huda’s beautiful brand has got it all – and we’ve tried and tested the products that are worth the hype so you don’t have to.

Samantha Lashes #7

If you want to make your eyes pop, look no further than the Samantha #7 lashes. These best-selling falsies can be worn up to 15 times and are designed with every eye shape in mind. Fluffy and voluminous yet super lightweight, the lashes and are tapered at the ends to really open up the eye, while the impressively thick cotton band means you can even wear them without eyeliner. While undoubtedly dramatic, these lashes can be worn in any situation at any time of the day.

Rose Gold Remastered Palette

Following the success of her first eyeshadow palette, the beauty mogul has switched up the game with an updated take on the rose gold-inspired edit of colours. The 18 remastered shades are designed with even more pigment than the originals – as promised by Huda, so you can expect an eye-opening laydown. We instantly noticed the difference in the metallic and matte hues when pressing and blending. If you found yourself needing to pick up lots of product from the old palette, things are about to seriously change.

Desert Dusk Eyeshadow Palette

You may have noticed this eye palette popping up on your insta feed and for a very good reason. The best-selling Rose Gold palette from Huda Beauty has been given a makeover with a mix of new intense colours with some serious staying power - kiss eye creases goodbye! Featuring eight matte shades, six pearl, three chrome and one gorgeous glitter inspired by the jewels of the Middle East - grab it while you still can.

FauxFilter Foundation

Foundations have come a long way when it comes to diversity, and Huda Beauty is one of the game-changing makeup brands offering hues that match a broad range of skin tones. Packed with ultra-refined pigments that blur blemishes and pigmentation, you only need to check the #FauxFilter hashtag on Instagram to see how high coverage this foundation is. It comes in a total of 30 shades and contains argan oil to nourish the skin while perfecting it.

With a rose scent, the smooth formula goes on matte and has the perfect texture for concealing acne and scars. It held up pretty well throughout a whole day in the office with minimal touch ups and even stayed put in a rain shower. A word of warning: the pump dispenses a lot of product, but you only need a pea-sized amount for entire coverage – so press gently!

Liquid Matte Lipstick in Bombshell

From Barbie pinks to seductive nude tones, Huda Beauty’s liquid lipsticks come in the dreamiest shades for matching with every outfit in your closet. The fast-drying formula provides intense colour that sets to a comfortable matte finish.

Bombshell is a feminine pinkish nude that’s perfect for everyday wear. Once dry, this lightweight lipstick didn’t smudge at all and lasted through lunch with minimal touch ups. Pair it with the brand’s Lip Contour pencil for a perfectly plumped-up pout.

Lip Contour in Trendsetter

We love how effortlessly this pencil glides on to lips to create a fuller-looking pout. Trendsetter is a warm, brownish nude that works well with all skin tones and is regularly sported by Huda. Its moisturising pigment means it is strong enough to be worn alone as a lipstick and is also waterproof, leaving you with a kiss-proof finish.

Lash Glue Dark Tone

When applying a pair of fluttery Huda lashes, we think there is no better thing to do it than this quick-drying adhesive from the brand. The waterproof formula comes in a dark tone that enhances the lash line and helps create the look of thicker lashes.

The glue takes just seconds to get tacky – so you don’t need to wait long before completing your look. Unlike some other lash adhesive formulas, this one felt comfortable and didn’t irritate the eyes. We also love that the glue peels off when dried, making it easy to remove excess from the lash band when taking off your falsies.

3D Highlight Palette Bronze Sands Edition

When Huda first dropped three glow-giving highlighters, we couldn’t contain our excitement. Beautifully buildable and totally long-lasting, the sparkly quartets inside the 3D Highlighter palettes are anything but average. The Bronze Sands Edition is great for darker skin tones and can be used to contour as well as highlight. Each palette includes one cream formula and three 'pearlescent powders’.

Mauve Obsessions Palette

If you are new to Huda Beauty and want to start out with something small (and pocket-friendly), then the makeup guru’s ‘Obsessions’ eyeshadow palettes are just the ticket. These mini but marvellous collections boast 9 pigment-packed shades – which include both matte and shimmer finishes. The formulas are buttery soft and wonderfully easy to blend, making it easy to create a Huda-worthy glam. Our favourite part is how it fits so effortlessly into our everyday handbags.

Verdict

While it’s hard to pick a favourite, the Huda Beauty product we can’t go without is the Samantha Lashes. Whatever look you are going for, this fluttery style will spice up your yes in no time.
