Best Halloween decorations to buy on a budget from B&M, Home Bargains, Wilko and more

With Halloween just around the corner, plenty of households will be dusting off their plastic skeletons, picking up pumpkins and trying not to eat all of those sweets reserved for trick-or-treaters.

Making some spooky additions to your home is a great way to make things exciting for the kids and spread a bit of cheer and fun at this time of year, and you will no doubt have seen Halloween sections take over the shops in recent weeks. But given the cost of living at the moment, some overpriced ranges may make Halloween celebrations feel out of reach for some.

Luckily, many shops are offering cheap decorating options that will get your home looking suitably frightening while still being good value for money. Here are ten of the best decorations we’ve found for £10 or less in high street shops that are a little bit different to the usual decor - and ones that unlike a pumpkin, you will hopefully be able to use for years to come and get your money’s worth out of.
