Best Fantasy Premier League team for FPL GW4 featuring Man City and Arsenal stars

After a thrilling GW3 of Fantasy Premier League, all attention now turns to FPL GW4, with some favourable fixtures falling to the big-hitters.

Liverpool continued their winless start to the Premier League season as they were beaten 2-1 by Manchester United, with Erik ten Hag's side looking very impressive. Chelsea were shocked 3-0 by high-flyers Leeds, and Manchester City drew 3-3 with Newcastle United in one of the games of the season.

Arsenal continued their amazing start to the season as they made it three wins from three against Bournemouth, with Mikel Arteta's side a great pick for FPL players currently. In GW4 the Gunners face Fulham, whilst Liverpool and Chelsea will be looking for redemption against Bournemouth and Leicester respectively.

So, what's the best team to pick for FPL GW4? Here's Mirror Football's best FPL side for the fourth game week of the 2022/23 FPL season.

Mirror's best FPL Gameweek 4 squad

GW3 starting XI (4-5-1): Raya; Cucurella, Saliba, Robertson, Perisic; Martinelli, Salah, Sterling, Diaz, Son; Toney.

Some of the best picks in FPL for GW4 (Fantasy Premier League)

Goalkeeper: David Raya (4.5m) - 13 saves and one clean sheet in the first three games, Raya could be a good option for GW4. Facing an Everton side who haven't looked great in front of goal and with a poor away record, a clean sheet could be on the cards for Brentford.

Defender: Marc Cucurella (£5.1m) - Despite losing 3-0 to Leeds last week, Cucurella could be a good option against a leaky Leicester defence. Chelsea will be looking for redemption, and their opponents have conceded the most goals in the league this season.

Defender: William Saliba (£4.6m) - Saliba has grabbed more points than any other FPL defender so far this season, with the Frenchman having already racked up four bonus points following his impressive performances. Fulham have been impressive at home but have failed to score in away games this season, working in Saliba's favour ahead of the clash.

Defender: Andrew Robertson (£6.9m) - No clean sheets and no wins in their first three games, Liverpool should be a team to avoid in FPL. But, with Bournemouth at Anfield this weekend, expect a reaction from Jurgen Klopp's side which could see their first clean sheet of the season and potentially, plenty of goals.

Defender: Ivan Perisic (£5.5m) (C) - Captaining defenders is always risky, but it could return a big reward in GW4. Perisic impressed for Spurs against Wolves last week, and coming up against Nottingham Forest who concede most of their chances down the left, Perisic could return big points.

Midfielder: Raheem Sterling (9.9m) - Like Liverpool, Chelsea have started nowhere near their best, but Sterling has been a bright spark and is due a goal soon. Owned by just over 5% of players, the England international could prove a great differential.

Midfielder: Gabriel Martinelli (£6.4m) - With two goals in his first three games and just £6.4m, Martinelli is one of the best bargain players in FPL right now. The Brazilian has been one of the Gunners' most dangerous players this season, so expect a few chances to fall his way.

Midfielder: Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) - Despite Liverpool yet to find their feet, Salah has still been able to prove a valuable FPL asset, scoring two and assisting one in three games so far. The Egyptian has a great track record against Bournemouth, scoring eight and assisting one in six appearances.

Midfielder: Luis Diaz (£8.0m) - Like Salah, Diaz has still performed well in Liverpool's opening games, with his goal against Crystal Palace in GW2 showing what he's capable of. For just £8m, the Colombian could prove a valuable asset.

Midfielder: Heung-Min Son (£11.9m) - Son is yet to score in three games this season, but against Forest, the stats favour the South-Korean to have a few chances to grab his first. On the same side as Perisic, Forest have been poor defensively down the left, meaning last season's top scorer could maybe grab a goal or two.

Forward: Ivan Toney (£7.2m) - In his opening three games, Toney has managed two goals and two asssits whilst racking up five bonus points in that time. A handful for defenders, Toney could thrive against Everton in GW4.
