After the 12th full slate of regular season action, the NFL and fantasy football are nearing the end of the regular season.
If you had a tough injury in Week 11, or you just didn’t get the production from one of your players that you expected, we’ll scan the waiver wire. For potential pickups, we’ll consider players who are available in at least 50% of ESPN fantasy leagues.
Let’s take a look at some of the potential waiver wire pickups that could help your teams heading into Week 12 of the NFL campaign.
Jordan Love, QB, Green Bay Packers (43.6%)
Starting quarterbacks are going down left and right, so if you’re looking for a streamer, Love could be your guy.
He’s the 13th-ranked quarterback in fantasy so far this season. His 20.88-point performance against the Los Angeles Chargers last week brought his average on the year up to 17.1.
Facing a Detroit Lions secondary that’s giving up 18 points per game to opposing quarterbacks, Love could have a decent day.
Zach Charbonnet, RB, Seattle Seahawks (32.4%)
Second-year back Kenneth Walker III suffered an oblique strain on Sunday, and with a quick turnaround, it’s unlikely that he’ll play this week.
This should give way to the rookie, Charbonnet, starting on Thanksgiving.
So far this year, he’s recorded 261 yards on 4.9 yards per attempt and another 92 yards on 19 receptions. With the uptick in workload, he should have a chance to be a starting running back for fantasy purposes.
Odell Beckham Jr., WR, Baltimore Ravens (43.8%)
Beckham showed a glimpse of his old self last week against the Cincinnati Bengals, as he scored 15.6 fantasy points with over 100 yards for the first time since 2019.
This week, the Ravens play the Chargers who have allowed the most points to opposing wide receivers. It’s at least a good time for a lottery ticket play.
Isaiah Likely, TE, Baltimore Ravens (0.9%)
Double Ravens? This one is more of a long-term move. With Mark Andrews suffering a fantasy season-ending injury last week, Baltimore will be looking to replace that production at tight end, which has been Lamar Jackson’s safety blanket.
Likely has good size and solid athleticism for the position which should allow him an opportunity to take advantage of some mismatches.
Considering the lack of talent at the position in fantasy, he’s worth a flier.
New York Giants, D/ST (15.5%)
The Giants defense ate last week against the Washington Commanders, recording four sacks, three interceptions, three fumble recoveries and a touchdown.
Going up against the New England Patriots this week, it wouldn’t be terribly surprising to see a repeat performance.
