Best Fantasy Football waiver wire pickups for Week 11

After the 10th full slate of regular season action, the NFL and fantasy football are heading into the back half of the season.

If you had a tough injury in Week 10, or you have a player hitting their bye week at an inopportune time, we’ll scan the waiver wire. For potential pickups, we’ll consider players who are available in at least 50% of ESPN fantasy leagues.

Let’s take a look at some of the potential waiver wire pickups that could help your teams heading into Week 11 of the NFL campaign.

Kadarius Toney, WR, Kansas City Chiefs (47.5%)

Toney found the end zone in his second game since being traded to Kansas City. He totaled 17 fantasy points, making him one of the top-producing wideouts in Week 10.

With JuJu Smith-Schuster suffering a concussion on a huge hit, Toney could see an increased workload. Even if he doesn’t, having a former first-round selection with Patrick Mahomes is interesting enough for a flier.

Cole Kmet, TE, Chicago Bears (38.8%)

Mandatory Credit: Mike Dinovo-USA TODAY Sports

Kmet has really found his groove over the last two games, recording nine receptions for 115 yards and two touchdowns. That moves him up to the seventh-best tight end in fantasy this season.

If Fields and Kmet have finally found a connection, the tight end could finally reach his potential, which everyone believed to be high.

Gus Edwards, RB, Baltimore Ravens (33.6%)

Mandatory Credit: Evan Habeeb-USA TODAY Sports

Baltimore’s backfield has been a dangerous place to be over the last two years with guys going down left and right. Edwards has only played in two games this season, but in his lone full appearance this year he scored 18.6 in Week 7 against the Cleveland Browns.

It looks like Edwards could return this week, following the Ravens’ bye week, and he could grab the top spot back from Kenyan Drake.

Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, San Francisco 49ers (46.6%)

Mandatory Credit: Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Garoppolo hasn’t exactly been fantasy relevant this season. He’s averaging 15.5 points per week, making him the 20th-ranked quarterback.

However, of all the options under 50% ownership, Garoppolo’s matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, who are giving up 19 points per game (27th) is the most enticing.

Bengals, D/ST (35.5%)

This is another case of playing the matchup. Cincinnati has only been the 18th-ranked DEF, averaging 5.6 per contest. Playing the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 11 (allowing 8.9 points to opposing defenses), the Bengals may be a sneaky good play.
