Eufy is a market leader when it comes to robot vacuums, and Steve, our resident robot vacuum expert, noted that this model, the robovac G30, boasts “improved navigation and route planning” when compared to the entry-level robovac 15C max, and a mopping function that can “easily tackle puddles and small splashes”. What’s more, £170 has been hoovered off the price.

It’s safe to say Roomba makes excellent vacuum cleaners. In our review of the best robot vacuum cleaners, it took the top spot with its combo j7+. While that particular model is on sale with a 12 per cent discount at Amazon, there’s an even bigger offer on the newer combo j9+. It has a mopping function that can scrub your floors, plus it can adjust suction and scrubbing levels, as well as the number of cleans. It even prioritises messier rooms first. Very cool. A lightweight yet powerful device, Hoover’s cordless vacuum cleaner proved popular with household expert Qin Xie. In her review of the vacuum, she described the model as Hoover’s “most sturdy and powerful yet,” with both a 350W motor and 4,000 mAh lithium-ion battery. In terms of performance, she enjoyed how “the suction head was also able to twist sideways to get into tight spots” while noting with surprise just how much dust it picked up.
