Best deals on home appliances this Amazon Prime Day 2023: Early offers available now

With the rise of all things AI and robotics-related, many not-so humble abodes are beginning to resemble those sleek, manicured and integrated smart homes featured in the vast majority of Black Mirror episodes which take place within the domestic sphere.

Nevertheless, integrated smart homes – despite their rising popularity in the real world – are not an affordable solution for the vast majority of renters and homeowners across the country. This, however, doesn’t mean that we can’t purchase fancy appliances to make our day-to-day chores and general domestic upkeep a whole lot easier.

From brand-new cordless and robotic vacuums to Wi-Fi-operated coffee machines, you can purchase an array of hi-tech home appliances for up to 50 per cent off during the sales extravaganza that is Amazon Prime Day.

What is Amazon Prime Day?

Amazon Prime Day is the highlighted and triple-underlined date in all keen shoppers’ diaries. Though initially a relatively small-scale annual sales event, Amazon Prime Day has grown year-on-year and is now a two-day bonanza with thousands of incredible bargains on offer across the board.

Though Amazon did conduct a Spring Sale event back in March, Amazon Prime Day is the one to know about.

When is Amazon Prime Day 2023?

This year, Amazon Prime Day will take place on July 11 and 12.

How to take part in Amazon Prime Day

Hint: it’s in the name. In order to take part in Amazon Prime Day, it’s essential that you’re a member of Amazon Prime. Shocking, we know. If you’ve already been considering signing up to Prime thanks to the many varied benefits – including next-day delivery, Prime Video, Amazon Fresh, Amazon Music and access to audio books to name a few – take Prime Day as the perfect excuse.

Pay the monthly fee of £8.99, or get those payments done in one fell swoop with the £95 annual fee. For students, it’s £4.49 a month and £47.49 a year. Bargains all over the place.
