Glasgow is home to some of the country's tastiest fish and chips, and some of our favourite chippies are going head to head with eateries from across Scotland to take home the title of 'Scotland's best'. Eight fish and chip shops from around Glasgow have been named as finalists at this year's Scottish Italian Awards.
The annual awards, which celebrate the special links between Scotland and Italy, take place on November 27, with the finalists being announced across several hard-fought categories.
The ninth year of the event has seen eight top venues in and around Glasgow in with a chance of being crowned the overall winner.
First up is Glenboig favourite Marinos and the ever-popular Tony’s Chip Shop in Coatbridge, while Kadir’s Fish & Chips are representing Barrhead and Enzo's Fish & Chips Pizzeria, Crookston.
