When is Black Friday?
Black Friday takes place on the Friday after Thanksgiving, which falls on the 29th November this year. Typically, the Black Friday deals and discounts carries over on from Friday to Saturday and Sunday too. It's a great chance for consumers to relieve the stress of last minute gifts for Christmas as the holiday period kicks into high gear. It's also a nice chance to treat yourself and grab a good golfing bargain to compliment your golfing setup.
Black Friday is followed by Cyber Monday as well, which takes place the following week to allow shoppers who missed out on a chance to hit the stores by discounting thousands of items online.
Are Black Friday deals worth it?
The short answer here is yes. Black Friday regularly sees good discounts on products made by well-trusted brands. The number of top-notch deals on TaylorMade products shows that nicely in this piece. What we would say is be smart with how you go about searching for deals. Look at several retailers because chances are a product will be cheaper on one than the other, and use sites that you trust. For example at Golf Monthly we only shout about products we know to be good and have tested ourselves.
Where Should I Buy?
In the US, some of the best golf retailers include PGA Tour Superstore, Rock Bottom Golf, Walmart and, of course, Amazon. In the UK, the best golf retailers include Scottsdale Golf, American Golf, Sports Direct, Click Golf and Amazon.
Amazon can be tricky to navigate (check out our best Amazon Black Friday golf deals) but they're a fantastic retailer for golf watches, lasers and balls in particular. Other retailers to keep an eye on are the brands themselves so Nike, adidas , Puma and Under Armour.
