Many people out there, myself included, will tell you that AirPods are the best headphones going - so why not bag yourself a pair when they’re heavily discounted in the Amazon Prime Day sale?
If you’re an Apple user through and through, there’s no better option than AirPods. Not only do they boast superior noise cancellation and adaptive audio which can change depending on your surroundings, but they also have extra Apple-centric features like allowing Siri to read out iMessages and reminders, too.
With the latest AirPods Pro 2nd Generation, for example, you can switch from noise cancelling, which we all know and love, to transparency mode, which keeps you aware of your surroundings whilst you’re out and about without having to stop your music. Better yet, they’re sweat and water-resistant too, and even connect to Find My, so now there’s no excuse for losing them.

What kind of AirPod deals can we expect?
There’s always a good selection of deals to choose from. Back in July, you could cop a pair of the earbuds for as little as £99, so we’re hoping for something even better this time.

Apple Airpods Pro
These have rapidly become the baseline against which other earbuds are judged, such is their prevalence among iPhone users. Airpods have improved greatly since their first iteration, and the Pro variant now sports noise cancellation, IPX4 sweat resistance, and replaceable tips so you can get the fit just right.
Battery life is one of the Pros’ weaker elements, with 6 hours quoted when using noise cancellation. This tech takes its toll on every pair we tried, but on the Airpods Pro, it seems particularly bad. Perhaps it’s the slim and svelte design of the buds, leaving little room to cram in batteries. The charging case is a good one with 30 hours of playback, and powering up the ‘Pods for an hour’s use from just five minutes in the case. Sound is balanced with good bass, and is distinctly superior to that from cheaper earbuds.
