Bernard Boasiako's net worth compared to Muhsin Bayrak amid late Chelsea takeover bid

Antwi Bernard Boasiako and Muhsin Bayrak have very different net worth's as both make a late play in the Chelsea takeover race with the Friday deadline fast approaching.

With Roman Abramovich having his sanctions announced last week, interested parties have started to learn what the process will entail if they are to acquire the current World and European Champions. football.london exclusively revealed on Wednesday that the Raine Group will have the final say on whom is to be successful in taking over from the Russian oligarch with the government only there to ensure no funds are transferred to the Blues owner of the last 19 years.

Furthermore, it is understood that all of Nick Candy, Todd Boehly's consortium and others like Bayrak and the Saudi Media group are set to be in the running to be the next in line at Stamford Bridge. However, a new African owner has thrown a spanner in the works with an admission he has made to the Daily Mail. Boasiako has admitted that he wants to bring 'stability' back to the west Londoners whilst wanting to continue the ever-growing African influence of the club that was originally pioneered by the likes of Michael Essien and Drogba alike.

A spokesperson for Boasiako revealed: "Bernard Antwi Boasiako is exploring a potential offer for Chelsea. Discussions with various parties involved in the sale have taken place. "Chelsea has a lasting legacy in Africa, players like Didier Drogba and Michael Essien are legends of the club; the opportunity to enhance the club's reputation in Africa is a very tempting prospect. Restoring stability and ensuring there are no job losses are among the priorities."

This new update coincides well with the latest on the Bayrak situation with Sky News reporting that meetings between the Turk and Abramovich could be held in the next few hours. It's safe to say that at this point, the aforementioned duo are still major outsiders in the ongoing takeover saga.

But, if one of the pair were to make the cut with the Raine Group, how much could they offer to Chelsea monetary wise? football.london takes a look at both billionaire's net worth's.

To start off with, Bayrak's net worth has already been explored with it understood that his ventures in cryptocurrency and real estate have earned him a reported net worth figure of $11billion (£8.3billion).

On the contrary, with his ownership of the gold mine coupled with his other ventures in the farming industry in Africa, Boasiako reportedly has a significantly less net worth value in comparison to his Turkish counterpart of $10million (£7.7m).

Consequently, Boasiako may have to form his own consortium if he is to stand a chance of coming out on top in this ferocious takeover race with this upcoming Friday a significant day for all involved in this ever-developing saga.
