Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase name-dropped by Chiefs rival after Super Bowl

In early January, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase fired a shot at the Kansas City Chiefs with the funny “anybody but the Chiefs” response to who he wanted to see win the Super Bowl.

Unfortunately for Chase, the Chiefs ended up winning it all again and at least one of his direct on-field rivals made sure to bring him up in the aftermath.

Appearing on the “Up And Adams Show” with Kay Adams, L’Jarius Sneed highlighted Chase as the wideout he dislikes the most.

“I think Ja’Marr Chase,” Sneed said. “He don’t like the Chiefs, period. Me and him get very chippy. He got a mouth on him.”

Chase hasn’t been shy about messing around with the media, fans and opponents when there’s a microphone around, so it’s not a surprise to see he’s come up in conversations like this — especially around one of the best new rivalries in the NFL.

As for Sneed, he’s scheduled to be a free agent, so we’ll see if Chase lines up against him next year (potentially in the NFL season opener) in this rivalry again.
