Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase posted the rare Triple Crown in 2024, establishing him as a finalist for the Offensive Player of the Year award at the NFL Honors on Thursday night.
There, Chase finished third in the voting.
Chase wasn’t going to run away with this award, not with Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley putting up an MVP-level season with his 2,005 rushing yards and 13 scores on a 5.8 per-carry average over 16 regular season games.

Chase also finished behind Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson in the voting.
On the field, Chase simply couldn’t be stopped. He caught 127 of 175 targets, registering 1,708 receiving yards with 17 touchdowns, cementing his Triple Crown status.
Now, Chase moves ahead into an offseason of the unknown as the Bengals seek to sort out his inevitably market-resetting contract.
